What types of events do you cover?
We curate the sound, energy and atmosphere for weddings, corporate events, brand launches, private parties, anniversaries and kids parties — each tailored to reflect your people, your vibe and your vision.

Do you provide the equipment too?
Yes — we offer full-service DJ and sound system hire for events. This includes premium speakers, lighting, DJ decks and all technical setup. We bring everything needed to deliver seamless sound and high-end production.
Can I choose the music?
Absolutely. You’re welcome to share favourite songs, genres or must-plays — or leave it in our hands. Every event is uniquely curated, never copied or recycled, so the sound always fits your moment.
Do you offer more than one DJ?
Yes — Curate Sound is a collective of professional DJs with different styles and strengths. Whether you want a soulful selector or a high-energy party DJ, we’ll match the right talent to your event and crowd.
Do you travel outside of Leeds?
We cover most of Yorkshire, Manchester, Harrogate, York and the surrounding areas. If your event is within 1 hour of Leeds by car, we’re happy to curate it.
Are you insured?
Yes — we carry full Public Liability Insurance and ensure all equipment is PAT tested and event-ready. If your venue requires documentation, we’ll send it over
Do you offer kids party packages?
We do — and they’re a little different. Our kids parties combine fun, age-appropriate music with high-energy interaction, lighting effects, and optional enhancements like bouncy castles, candy stalls, bubble machines or themed extras designed to entertain children and adults alike.
How far in advance should I book?
We recommend booking as early as possible, especially for weekends and summer dates. However, if your event is coming up soon, just get in touch — we’ll always try to accommodate you.
What if I’m not sure which package is right for me?
No problem at all. We’ll start with a quick consultation, talk through your event and your goals, and recommend the best fit — with no pressure, and full transparency.
How do I secure my booking?
Once we’ve confirmed your package and availability, we’ll send over a short agreement, and invoice for your deposit request. Once received, your event is officially booked.
