Booking Terms.

When you book with Curate Sound, you agree to the following terms and conditions:
1. Booking Confirmation
A booking is only confirmed once:
A written agreement has been signed
A non-refundable deposit 10% of the full amount has been paid
The remaining balance is due 7 before the event, unless otherwise agreed.
2. Cancellations & Refunds
If you cancel:
Your deposit is non-refundable
If cancellation occurs within 14 days of the event, additional charges may apply to cover costs already incurred
If we must cancel due to unforeseen circumstances, we will:
Offer an equivalent replacement DJ from our team, or
Provide a full refund, including your deposit
3. Changes to Your Event
We’ll always do our best to accommodate changes. However:
Changes to date, time or venue are subject to availability
If your changes significantly affect setup, travel, or staffing, additional charges may apply
4. Client Responsibilities
You agree to:
Provide accurate information about your event and venue access
Ensure safe and secure working conditions for all equipment and team members
Communicate any special requests (e.g., music preferences, dress code, timing) in advance
5. Liability & Insurance
We carry full Public Liability Insurance and PAT-tested equipment.
However, we are not liable for:
Delays or disruptions caused by venue issues, extreme weather, or client-side arrangements
Damage caused by guests to our equipment or team
6. Media Usage
We may capture photos or videos from your event to use for marketing purposes.
If you’d prefer we didn’t, just let us know in advance — no problem.
7. Respect & Safety
We reserve the right to stop a performance if our team is subject to unsafe, aggressive or inappropriate behaviour. In such cases, no refund will be issued.
